Vivo appears to be getting ready to launch a new pair of true wireless earbuds in India. The company has teased the Vivo Buds through its India social media account, confirming the product name and hinting that the launch is coming soon. However, Vivo has not yet announced the launch date, price or availability details for the Indian market.
While the specifications of the India model are still unknown, a Vivo global product page gives us an idea of what the upcoming earbuds could offer. It is important to note that Vivo has not confirmed whether the same model will be launched in India.
Vivo Buds India Launch Teased
The Vivo Buds India launch was teased through an X post from Vivo. The teaser video shows the earbuds along with their charging case, but does not reveal much about the product. Vivo has only confirmed that the TWS earbuds are coming soon.
The company is yet to share details about the Vivo Buds price in India, launch date and availability. More information is expected closer to the official launch.
According to Vivo’s global product listing, the earbuds could feature 10mm drivers and support a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. The earbuds are also listed with DeepX 3.0 sound effects, four sound modes and AI-based call noise reduction.
Other expected features include Bluetooth 5.4, multipoint connectivity and a Cross-Flow Duct Design. Vivo also mentions a Wind Noise Reduction Chamber, which should help improve call quality in outdoor conditions. The earbuds could have an IP54 rating and an advertised gaming latency of 88ms.
Vivo Buds Features and Battery Life
The global Vivo Buds model also supports Google Fast Pair, Find My Vivo Buds and Google Voice Assistant. Compatible Vivo and iQOO smartphones can also use the earbuds for remote camera control.
Battery life could be another key feature. Vivo claims up to 50 hours of music playback with the charging case, while each earbud can reportedly deliver up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge. A 10-minute quick charge is claimed to provide up to three hours of music playback.
Interestingly, the listed specifications are similar to the recently launched iQOO Buds, which arrived in India at Rs. 1,899. That model also offers 10mm drivers, AI call noise reduction, an IP54 rating and a claimed 50-hour battery life.
For now, the Vivo Buds India launch date and price remain under wraps. More details should become clear when Vivo officially announces the earbuds for the Indian market.
