iPhone 20 Pro Display Leak Hints at Quad-Curved Screen and Punch-Hole Cutout

Apple could be planning a major display change for its 20th-anniversary iPhone. According to a new leak, the iPhone 20 Pro series is being tested with a quad-curved display and a punch-hole cutout. The design could eventually replace the Dynamic Island found on the company’s current Pro models.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared details about the display designs being tested by Apple. The iPhone 20 Pro is reportedly being tested with a 6.41-inch display offering a 2686×1236-pixel resolution. The larger iPhone 20 Pro Max could feature a 6.96-inch screen with a 2912×1340-pixel resolution.

For comparison, the iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3-inch display with a 2622×1206-pixel resolution, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch panel with a 2868×1320-pixel resolution. The upcoming models are expected to maintain a similar pixel density of around 460ppi.

The leaked prototypes are said to feature curves on all four sides of the screen, creating a more borderless look. A punch-hole could house the front camera, marking a change from the Dynamic Island design. However, Apple is reportedly still working on the display, so the final design could be different.

Apple is also said to be working with Samsung and LG on improving brightness around the curved edges. Earlier reports claimed the company was testing a custom four-sided curved display with Samsung.
