Dell has expanded its commercial laptop lineup in India with a new range of AI-powered Pro laptops. The company has introduced the Dell Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 series for business and professional users. The new laptops were announced at the Dell Technologies Forum 2026 in Mumbai and are designed to support AI workloads both on the device and through cloud and data centre environments.
Dell Pro Laptops Launched in India
The new Dell Pro lineup is aimed at businesses looking for laptops that can handle everyday productivity as well as newer AI-based workloads. The Dell Pro 3 is positioned as an entry-level commercial laptop, while the Pro 5 focuses on scalable performance and multitasking. The Pro 7 sits at the higher end of the mainstream range and is designed for users who want a thinner and more mobile device.
Depending on the configuration, the new Dell Pro laptops are available with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors or AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors. These platforms include dedicated AI processing capabilities, allowing supported AI tasks to run locally instead of relying completely on cloud processing.
Dell says the new Pro range is built around business requirements such as security, manageability and long-term productivity. The company has also highlighted improved thermal performance, battery life and connectivity across the lineup.
Dell Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 Features
The Dell Pro 3 is designed for everyday business use, with an emphasis on durability, security and reliable performance. The Pro 5 offers more configuration options for users who regularly work with multiple applications, while the Pro 7 is focused on portability without moving away from business features.
Dell is also expanding its commercial ecosystem with new Pro Precision workstations, monitors and a 4K webcam. The company says these products are designed to support demanding professional and AI workloads.
Pricing and exact availability for each Dell Pro laptop configuration in India are expected to vary. Dell’s India website currently lists the Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 as coming soon.
The launch comes at a time when AI-capable PCs are becoming more common in India. For businesses, the focus is increasingly on practical benefits such as performance, security and productivity rather than AI features alone.
