Vivo is preparing to introduce its new flagship X500 series, with the lineup expected to include the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max. The company is first launching the new smartphones in China, where the series is scheduled to debut on September 21.
The Vivo X500 series is expected to focus on camera performance, display quality and processing power. Vivo has already shared some details about the upcoming Pro models, particularly their video recording capabilities.
The Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are expected to support 4K video recording at up to 240fps. They will also offer 4K 120fps video recording with HDR. Vivo is using frame interpolation technology to enable higher slow-motion modes, including 4K 480fps and 4K 960fps.
The Vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to be the top model in the series. It could feature a 200-megapixel telephoto camera and a 6.85-inch BOE 2K Zeiss Master Color display. The panel is expected to use BOE’s newer Q11 luminescent material, which is designed to improve scrolling and reduce motion blur.
The handset was also spotted on Geekbench with the model number V2602DA. Reports suggest it could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, with a peak clock speed of 4.55GHz.
Vivo X500 Series India Launch
For Indian buyers, Vivo has not yet officially confirmed the India launch date. The company is expected to reveal more information after the China launch. Reports suggest that the Vivo X500 series could arrive in India in October or early November, although this timeline has not been confirmed by Vivo.
India pricing is also currently unknown. The final price is likely to vary depending on the model, storage configuration and features offered in the Indian market.
