September 2026 is shaping up to be a busy month for smartphone launches, with Apple, Poco, Vivo, Redmi, iQOO and Xiaomi expected to introduce new models. Vivo T5 5G
Launch Date: September 2, 2026
The Vivo T5 5G is confirmed to launch in India on September 2. It is expected to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and pack a 7,050mAh battery with 44W charging. Camera specifications may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G+
Launch Date: September 4, 2026
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G+ is also confirmed for an India launch on September 4. The phone is expected to have a 6.76-inch Full HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It could come with up to 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and a battery of around 5,600mAh to 6,000mAh. The device is also expected to support 45W charging.
Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra
Launch Date: September 1, 2026 globally
Poco is expected to launch the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra globally on September 1. Both phones are tipped to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and offer up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The F9 Pro could feature a 6.59-inch OLED display, while the Ultra may get a larger 6.85-inch to 6.9-inch AMOLED panel. Battery capacities could be around 6,330mAh and 8,050mAh, with 100W charging.
iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Ultra
Launch Date: Expected September 9, 2026
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max during its September event. The phones could use the A20 Pro chipset and feature camera improvements, including a variable-aperture main camera and an upgraded telephoto sensor. A smaller Dynamic Island and a new 24-megapixel front camera are also expected.

iQOO 16, Vivo X500 and Xiaomi 18 Series
iQOO is expected to launch the iQOO 16 in China during September. It could feature a high-refresh-rate 2K AMOLED display, triple 50-megapixel cameras and a large battery.
Vivo has confirmed the X500 series for China, including the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. The lineup will focus on Zeiss-tuned cameras and upgraded telephoto systems.
Xiaomi is also preparing the Xiaomi 18 Pro series and Xiaomi 18 Fold for China. The Xiaomi 18 Pro models are expected towards the end of September, while the foldable Xiaomi 18 Fold is also scheduled for the month.
