Samsung could increase the price of some of its premium smartphones in India. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to get a price hike, although the company has not officially announced the revised pricing or when the new prices will come into effect.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra currently starts at Rs. 1,39,999 in India for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs. 1,59,999, while the top-end version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs Rs. 1,89,999.
If the reported Galaxy S26 Ultra price hike goes ahead, buyers looking for Samsung’s flagship smartphone may have to pay more. The phone already sits in the premium segment, so even a moderate increase could affect its overall value for buyers.
The tipster has also mentioned possible price increases for Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. However, the report is less certain about the foldable models, so their pricing should be taken with some caution until Samsung confirms the details.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 currently starts at Rs. 1,79,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. The 12GB + 512GB model is priced at Rs. 1,99,999, while the 16GB RAM and 1TB variant costs Rs. 2,39,999.
For now, Samsung has not confirmed any price changes. More details about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra price in India and Galaxy Z Fold 8 pricing are expected once the company announces its revised prices.
