Poco has launched the Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 in India, expanding its X8 smartphone lineup with two new mid-range models. Both phones focus on large batteries, AMOLED displays and capable camera hardware. The Poco X8 Power stands out with a 10,000mAh battery, while the standard Poco X8 gets a 9,000mAh battery.
The two smartphones join the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max, which were introduced earlier. Both new models will be available in India through Flipkart. The Poco X8 Power comes in Black and Yellow, while the Poco X8 is offered in Black, Fiery Orange and Frost White.
Poco X8 Power, Poco X8 Price in India
The Poco X8 starts at Rs. 29,999 for the base variant, while the Poco X8 Power has a starting price of Rs. 35,999. Poco is also offering a coupon discount of Rs. 2,000 and an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 1,000. With these offers, the effective starting prices can come down to Rs. 26,999 for the Poco X8 and Rs. 32,999 for the Poco X8 Power.
The smartphones are scheduled to go on sale in India from September 11 through Flipkart.
The Poco X8 is available in Black, Fiery Orange and Frost White colour options. The Poco X8 Power comes in Black and Yellow.

Both the Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 are dual-SIM smartphones that run Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3. Poco has promised four OS upgrades and six years of security updates for both models.
The phones feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. It also offers 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and up to 3,200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate.
For protection, both smartphones come with Corning Gorilla Victus 2. They also have IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water.
The Poco X8 Power is powered by Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset with a peak clock speed of up to 2.6GHz. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The standard Poco X8 uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset with a peak clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. It is paired with LPDDR4x RAM and offers up to 256GB of storage.

For photography, both smartphones feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation.
The Poco X8 Power also gets an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The standard Poco X8 instead has a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
For selfies and video calls, the Poco X8 Power has a 32-megapixel front camera. The Poco X8 comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
