The Redmi 17C 5G has been launched in India as the latest budget smartphone from Xiaomi’s Redmi lineup. The new model joins the Redmi 17 5G and comes with a 6,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The phone will be available in three colour options and is scheduled to go on sale in India from October 7.

The Redmi 17C 5G price in India starts at Rs. 20,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 22,999. The smartphone will be available through Amazon and Xiaomi’s online store. It comes in Coffee Brew, Dark Night and Purple Dawn colour options.

The Redmi 17C 5G features a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a 720×1,600-pixel resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen supports up to 810 nits brightness in HBM and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing and circadian-friendly display features. The phone has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
